Through our partnership with the Christian Leaders Institute, volunteers receive comprehensive online training in chaplaincy and life coaching—preparing them to offer compassionate, faith-based care to individuals in need.

How to Get Started
Go to the Christian Leaders Institute website.
Create a free account to access the training materials.
Enroll in and complete the required courses listed below.
Submit your certificates of completion to Palmetto Chaplains and Coaching.
Required Online Courses
Each volunteer must complete the following five courses to qualify for a chaplaincy or life coaching role:
Gain a foundational understanding of Christian faith and doctrine, equipping you to provide spiritually sound guidance to those you serve.
Learn the principles of chaplaincy and pastoral care, focusing on how to support people during grief, crisis, and personal hardships.
Develop the skills necessary to serve as a chaplain in corporate, institutional, and government settings, providing Christ-centered emotional and spiritual care.
Learn how to guide individuals through personal and professional challenges, helping them discover their God-given purpose and navigate life with faith and resilience.
Master effective coaching techniques that allow you to listen, support, and guide those facing difficulties in their personal and spiritual lives.
